Paradise Welfare Foundation was established in 1994 with
an aim to realize a society where corporate profits are given
back to society so that no one is left behind in creating
a happier future. As a non-profit organization founded by
a corporation, the Foundation is based on the credo of the
Paradise group that emphasizes corporate social
responsibility and the personal philosophy of Chairman
Rak-won Chun of respecting others.
Paradise Welfare Foundation has, for the past 20 years,
consistently delivered on its commitment to share the
burden of those on the margins of society and open a more
affluent future for all. The fruit of such efforts can be found
in various fields ranging from education, medical treatment,
culture and the arts.
Of particular note is the focus on developing content and
programs catering for children with disabilities or the youth
with special needs in their education or treatment. Through
such programs, the Foundation brings hope that these
children and youths can live an independent live as
members of society.
Moreover, by supporting academic organizations or bodies
directly involved in catering to the needs of those with
disabilities, the Foundation promotes specialized research
on disabilities as well as continuously providing creative
services that put those with disabilities at the center.
Paradise Welfare Foundation pledges to continue its firm
commitment to a happy society where all members of
society share in the happiness by being a consistent supporter for
those with disabilities and a reliable partner to those
who
are marginalized from society. Our path towards
a brighter and more hopeful future is taken step by step.
